Description: This is a 14th-century Yuan dynasty sacrificial celadon vase. It features a straight neck and flat mouth, symmetrical elephant-head handles on both sides, smooth and flowing shoulder lines, a full and rounded body, and a wide, flared foot, giving it a robust and imposing overall shape. The neck is decorated with scrolling lotus patterns, with winding lotus stems and blooming lotus flowers, rendered with smooth and delicate brushstrokes. The entire body is covered with a deep sacrificial blue glaze, upon which a majestic walking dragon is carved in raised white glaze. The dragon stands tall and proud, its mane flowing, its scales finely textured and layered, its five claws sharp and powerful, surrounded by flame patterns. The pure white dragon contrasts sharply with the deep sapphire blue background, creating a striking three-dimensional effect. The glaze is thick and full, a deep and rich sapphire blue, its luster slightly dimmed by the passage of time. The interior is glazed white. The glaze surface is clearly visible, showing both the marks of ancient pottery wheel making and the natural traces of time. Beneath the exposed foot ring lies a thick earthenware body, with multicolored clay accumulated around the foot ring, and the wheel marks are well preserved. The firing of the Yuan dynasty sacrificial blue glaze was extremely difficult, and the raised glaze carving technique further enhances its rarity. This piece combines exquisite monochrome glaze and relief carving techniques, making it a top-tier large-scale porcelain display piece from the Yuan dynasty.
