Dimensions: Each silver coin measures 3.9 cm (1.54 inches) in diameter; the set weighs a total of 81 grams. These are 19th-20th century Chinese proof silver coins. Condition and Provenance: All three coins are in excellent condition, without cracks, perforations, or signs of repair. The surfaces are flat with no obvious dents, and the edges are sharp and clear. The portrait of the British goddess and the text details on the 1929 British trade dollar are clearly visible. The portrait of Zhang Zuolin on the Yuanyuan coin is deeply reliefed, with a natural and even patina. The dragon scales on the Jiangnan Renyin Guangxu Yuanbao silver coin are clearly visible, covered with a natural multi-colored patina, and have not undergone any chemical aging treatment. The reverse design and text are intact, with no obvious wear. This set of silver coins originally belonged to a senior antique collector in Jiangnan, China. In 2024, the set was entrusted to a professional silver coin collection in Singapore, and in 2026, it was purchased by a private collector in Virginia, USA, specializing in modern Chinese silver coins. Singapore, Virginia, and Vancouver are leading global trading centers for rare modern Chinese silver coins. Description: This carefully selected collection includes three top-tier collectible silver coins, all from the late Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China period. They encompass three main categories: foreign trade silver dollars, warlord commemorative coins, and Qing Dynasty dragon-patterned silver dollars, forming an extremely valuable and comprehensive coin collection. The first coin is a 1929 British trade one-dollar silver coin, a major currency in modern Sino-Western maritime trade. The obverse features the goddess Britannia holding a trident and shield, inscribed with "ONE DOLLAR." Its exquisite minting craftsmanship records the history of cross-border ocean trade. The second coin is a 1928 (Republic of China Year 17) Zhang Zuolin commemorative one-dollar coin, officially minted by the Fengtian warlord regime. It was never used for daily circulation and is extremely rare. The obverse features a realistic and dignified portrait of Zhang Zuolin, while the reverse depicts two national flags. The third coin is a Guangxu Yuanbao silver coin with seven weights and two gold dragons from the Jiangnan Mint, issued in the Renyin year. It is an official Qing Dynasty dragon-patterned silver coin, featuring a three-dimensional relief dragon on the reverse, surrounded by exquisite Manchu inscriptions and geometric borders. It is one of the most popular and classic varieties among Qing Dynasty dragon-patterned silver coins. All three coins are standard one-yuan silver coins, of pure purity, covered with a natural patina formed over more than a century of circulation, and the coin surface and design are well preserved. This complete set has extremely high research value, covering the economic and trade history, warlord political history, and modern minting technology of the late Qing and Republican periods. Complete sets that have survived to this day are extremely rare, highly sought after by coin collectors and museums worldwide, and can be considered a milestone in modern Chinese silver coin collecting.
