All brass fittings show a natural, smooth finish with no obvious rust. The lid has an original mercury mirror embedded in it, and the interior is lined with intact yellow velvet. The three drawers on the left and the central double-door storage compartment open and close smoothly, with tight and stable mortise and tenon joints. The cloud-shaped feet carved at the bottom are also intact. All matching jewelry is well-preserved: the serpentine cabbage design is three-dimensional, and the translucent jade has no cracks or gaps.
