A late 19th-century Qing dynasty hardwood circular display stand with three arched legs and a natural landscape marble tabletop. Condition and Provenance: This display stand is crafted from high-quality solid wood with smooth, natural grain. A single piece of natural marble is inlaid at the center of the circular tabletop, its veining resembling ink wash painting, depicting a landscape. The table skirt is carved with winding grapevines and plump fruit patterns, while the three gracefully arched legs are engraved with scrolling grass and auspicious cloud patterns. Two horizontal supports with openwork auspicious cloud patterns are located in the center, with shelves below for convenient storage. All mortise and tenon joints are sturdy and reliable. The entire piece is well-preserved, with no wood cracks, broken legs, or rot. The marble tabletop is undamaged and without cracks. Only minor wear is present on the wooden edges, a result of centuries of domestic use. It has not undergone any later restoration, wood replacement, or artificial staining; all original carved decorative details are clear and intact. This table, formerly in the collection of a historic antique gallery in Hong Kong, was acquired in 2025 by a private collector in New York specializing in Qing dynasty hardwood furniture and Chinese decorative arts.
