Dimensions: 15.5 cm (6.10 inches) in height. A Song Dynasty (10th-13th century) Cizhou painted ceramic display bottle. Condition and Provenance: This bottle is in perfect condition, without cracks, defects, or signs of repair. The white glaze is well-preserved, exhibiting natural signs of age without any artificial aging treatment. The black pigment along the wavy border of the mouth is intact, with only slight wear on the rim due to centuries of handling. The neck decoration is richly layered, including lotus leaf patterns, square spiral geometric patterns, and parallel horizontal lines; the pigments are rich and show no fading. The running deer motif within the petal-shaped decoration on the body is clear and fluid, and the surrounding wavy decoration shows no wear. The exposed foot shows obvious throwing marks; the foot is reddish-brown with natural signs of age.
