The body is pear-shaped and octagonal, fitted with an octagonal lid topped with a pearl-shaped knob. A small ring on the side of the lid is used to attach a rope to the handle. A slender neck is fitted with a long, curved spout, decorated with cloud-like patterns between the spout and the neck. The opposite curved handle also has a ring-shaped end. The lid is painted with scrolling vine patterns. The neck is divided into eight fan-shaped patterns. Each side of the body is decorated with lotus, peony, and other intertwined floral patterns, with full flowers and winding branches. The lower part is decorated with upward-curving lotus petal patterns, while the rim, neck, and body are adorned with scrolling and meander patterns. The underglaze blue exhibits a rich and full color with typical rust spots, the brushstrokes are vigorous and powerful, and the composition is dense and regular. The octagonal unglazed foot reveals solid coarse earthenware with naturally aged soil deposits. This is a fine Yuan dynasty wine vessel that combines practicality and aesthetic appeal.
