The shape is a classic arrow-shaped vase with a straight mouth and tubular arrow-shaped handles on both sides of the long neck. The neck is decorated with layered patterns: scrolling foliage, upward-facing lotus petals, and meandering leaves. The spherical body features double-layered openwork carving; the upper layer is openwork with scrolling floral patterns, and the lower layer with openwork with scrolling coin patterns, showcasing exquisite craftsmanship. The lower part of the body and the foot are decorated with meander and scrolling foliage patterns. The entire piece is covered with a thick, even, pale green glaze with a soft luster. The foot reveals the solid body, exhibiting a natural iron-red hue. The openwork arrow-shaped bottle is a representative of the exquisite craftsmanship of Longquan ware, combining the shape of ancient ritual vessels with fine openwork carving. Extant examples are extremely rare.
