拍品描述

The foot shows signs of age. Formerly in the private collection of Richard Hayes of Chicago, Illinois, USA. Acquired in Hong Kong in the 1970s and subsequently passed down through family. Never publicly auctioned, with no exhibition or publication record. Description: A Yuan Dynasty Longquan celadon decorative vase, modeled after an ancient bronze ritual vessel. The mouth is leaf-shaped, and the rim is petal-shaped. The body is decorated with vertical petal-shaped ribs, divided into three parts: an outward-flaring upper rim, a spherical middle section, and an outward-flaring lower ring. The body is covered with a thick, even, pale green celadon glaze with a soft, understated luster. The raised ribs have a thinner, lighter glaze layer, enhancing the three-dimensional effect. Combining the shape of an ancient bronze ritual vessel with the soft celadon glaze, it is a representative high-end porcelain piece from Longquan, suitable for indoor display and flower arranging.
