Description: This is a beautiful 18th-century Tibetan gilt bronze lama statue. The lama is seated in a lotus position, with a round and full face, a serene and compassionate expression, a vajra on his forehead, slightly closed eyes, and a gentle smile. The facial features are vividly sculpted. He holds a vajra in each hand, with finely detailed fingers. He wears a heavy robe with naturally flowing folds. The robe's hem is exquisitely carved and decorated with scrolling foliage patterns, showcasing superb craftsmanship. The folds of the robe on the back of the Buddha statue are neatly arranged vertically. The original back cover is engraved with a double vajra motif, a classic feature of Tibetan Buddhist figures. The Buddha statue is cast in fine bronze and covered with a thick, warm gilding. Its large size and exceptional craftsmanship make it an important piece of 18th-century Tibetan Buddhist art.
