Description: This is an 18th-century Tibetan gilt bronze statue depicting Tsongkhapa, the founder of the Gelug school. The master sits in a lotus position on a rectangular base. He wears the Gelug school's signature pointed pandita hat. His face is serene and peaceful, radiating a solemn and serene aura, with slightly lowered eyes and lifelike facial features. His right hand moves downward in the earth-touching mudra, while his left hand holds a scroll resting on his knee—this is the classic image of Master Tsongkhapa. The robe is densely covered with intricate carvings, including cloud patterns, dragon motifs, and floral designs, the lines flowing and sharp, showcasing exquisite craftsmanship. The rectangular base is also decorated with scrolling floral carvings on the front. The folds of the robe on the back are thick and natural, and Tibetan inscriptions are engraved on the rear edge of the base. This Buddha statue is cast from refined copper alloy and retains the warm, original gilding. It is an outstanding Buddha statue representing the artistic style of the Gelug school of Tibetan Buddhism in the 18th century.
