Exhibited only for private themed displays of Yuan Longquan celadon, never offered in public auctions.Description:This large celadon bowl is a representative daily‑use and feasting vessel produced at Longquan kilns during Yuan Dynasty. It features widely flared opening, smoothly curved tapering body and substantial ring foot. The vessel presents generous solemn silhouette with thick heavy ceramic body, embodying the bold aesthetic of Yuan‑dynasty porcelain. Thick saturated green celadon glaze fully covers interior and exterior surfaces. The glaze surface is filled with naturally interlaced crackle patterns. Golden patina accumulated over long‑term burial decorates the rim, delivering strong antique appeal. Dark iron‑brown protective slip coats the foot rim, and the base interior is fully glazed with crackle patterns consistent with the rest of the bowl. Its glaze and body characteristics match excavated Yuan‑period shards unearthed at the Dayao Longquan kiln site in Zhejiang Province. Although Longquan large bowls from Yuan survive in moderate quantities, well‑preserved intact pieces retaining complete natural crackle and original burial patina are relatively uncommon. This bowl has well‑proportioned grand form, rich thick celadon glaze, balanced crackle texture, and untouched ancient patina. It serves as standard physical reference for studying Yuan‑dynasty Longquan porcelain craftsmanship. Excellent for oriental interior decoration, it carries solid academic and collectible value and is widely admired by celadon collectors across the US East Coast and Southeast Asia.
