The ensemble includes two similarly shaped stem cups plus one small floral rim cup. The stem cups have slightly flared mouths, deep curved bowls, and tall slender outward‑splayed stems, a very popular silhouette across Song‑Yuan periods. The small cup boasts lobed floral rim with raised vertical ribs on bowl wall supported by tiny short foot, presenting delicate compact proportions. All three vessels are covered in soft bluish‑white glaze with subtle jade‑like tone and mild understated luster. One stem cup is covered by natural ice crackle texture developed over hundreds of years of aging. Unglazed foot bases reveal typical gray‑white clay of Song Hutian kilns with neat trimming marks and distinct wheel‑thrown lines, fine porous clay texture with genuine soil patina. Song bluish‑white porcelain is widely celebrated for its jade‑simulating glaze quality. Stem cups were designed for banqueting wine serving, and floral small cups used for tea tasting. Surviving complete group of three matching pieces is exceptionally rare. It perfectly embodies the subtle, elegant aesthetic standard of Song Dynasty, highly pursued by veteran bluish‑white porcelain collectors from New York, Hong Kong and California.
