拍品描述

Dimensions:Mouth diameter 5.5cm(2.17in),overall height 5.5cm(2.17in),13th‑14th Century CECondition & Provenance:All three censers are fully intact, free of cracks, chips and modern restoration. They are well‑formed with flared rims, plump bodies and complete beast‑form tripod feet.Covered in classic Jun‑yao sky‑blue base glaze overlaid with fluid naturally‑flowing rose‑purple kiln‑change splashes, accompanied by inherent fine glaze crackle.Thin glaze along the rim yields amber‑brown margin. The feet expose coarse sandy clay with dry aged texture and distinct hand‑throwing spiral marks on base.Minute glaze bubbles and minor pitting are original firing features;only subtle inherited wear shows on foot tips without post‑production damage. This group was part of a private Song‑Yuan ceramic collection in Miami,Florida,USA.The collector acquired the trio from a Hong Kong antique gallery in the 1990s and stored them in climate‑controlled dark storage.Complete group of three matching Jun‑yao scholar‑studio miniature censers are extremely uncommon.Description:This group of three tiny tripod censers was made for incense burning within ancient Chinese scholar studios, used while playing zither or reading books. Each vessel features flared rim, compressed neck, plump bulbous body and three miniature beast‑shaped support feet, delivering a compact sturdy silhouette.Thin glaze at the rim forms warm amber‑brown edge.Heavy thick Jun‑yao sky‑blue glaze covers the exterior, blended with sweeping rose‑purple‑red kiln‑transformation splashes.Every individual censer carries its own unique splash pattern, illustrating the famous Jun‑yao phenomenon “one color going into kiln, thousand colors coming out”.Glaze stops short on base, three foot tips reveal coarse granular yellow‑brown sandy body with obvious throwing spirals, representing typical northern Yuan‑dynasty Jun kiln craftsmanship. Most Jun‑yao miniature tripod censers survive as single pieces;undamaged group of three such matching examples are very rare on today’s antiques market. These three pieces hold rich thick glaze, natural crackle and genuine aged clay, keeping complete ancient inherited patina. They powerfully reflect the exuberant brilliant folk aesthetic of Yuan‑dynasty Jun ceramics and constitute a museum‑grade matched scholar‑studio treasure set.
