Dimensions:Mouth diameter 9.8cm(3.86in),overall height 4.5cm(1.77in),13th‑14th Century CECondition & Provenance:All three tea bowls are fully intact, free of cracks, chips, rim fleabites and modern restoration. They adopt classic flared‑rim sloped‑wall conical shape.Thin glaze at rim yields natural beige‑amber edge tint. They are covered in Jun‑yao sky‑blue opalescent glaze, each interior bears one natural flowing purple kiln‑change splash.Fine age crackle spreads over glaze surface.Scattered dark specks and tiny pinholes are inherent kiln‑firing features. The short foot ring exposes coarse yellow‑brown sandy clay with archaic trimming spirals;only faint soft inherited wear appears along foot rims without post‑production damage. This group originates from a private Song‑Yuan ceramic collection in Seattle,Washington,USA.The collector acquired them through a Hong Kong antique gallery in the 1990s and preserved them long‑term in climate‑controlled dark storage.Matched set of three intact Jun‑yao conical tea bowls with purple splashes are quite uncommon on global antique market.Description:This set of three conical tea bowls was produced at northern Jun kilns during Yuan dynasty, popular everyday drinking wares for ancient Chinese tea consumption. Each bowl features wide flared opening, sharp sloping belly and compact small foot ring, rendering elegant streamlined silhouette.Thin glaze thinning along rim creates warm amber‑yellow margin.Interior and exterior are coated with thick milky sky‑blue Jun‑yao glaze overlaid with fine natural age crackle.Every bowl interior carries one freely‑flowing rose‑purple kiln‑transformation splash with unique shape, illustrating the famous Jun‑yao saying “one color entering kiln, thousand colors coming out”.The base foot ring remains unglazed, revealing gritty yellow‑toned sandy body with obvious hand‑throwing spiral marks, showcasing the plain honest craft aesthetic of northern folk kilns. Most Jun‑yao conical tea bowls survive as single specimens. This matched trio is fully preserved, each piece with authentic purple splash, antique glaze tone and genuine ancient patina. They faithfully retain the original character of Yuan‑dynasty folk Jun‑yao tea wares and count as museum‑grade matched ceramic treasures for tea‑ware collection.
