Dimensions：Height 7.2 cm (2‑7/8 in), Rim Diameter 21.2 cm (8‑3/8 in), 12th‑13th CenturyCondition & Provenance：Fully intact, natural age‑related wear on rim, entire surface covered with authentic antique crackle, mould‑printed motifs remain crisp and three‑dimensional, native firing dark spots visible on base foot. Private collection, Miami, Florida, USA. Obtained through Hong Kong antique gallery in 1990s.Description：This is an impressive large‑scale Yingqing conical bowl from Hutian kiln of Song‑era Jingdezhen, a substantial example among Song bluish‑white porcelains. It adopts classic conical shape with wide open rim and thin porcelain body. Wall tapers smoothly down to small neatly trimmed foot ring, delivering broad grand silhouette with soft flowing lines. The bowl is coated overall with soft translucent lake‑blue Yingqing glaze. Fine aged crackle network spreads all across interior and exterior surfaces, lending the glaze a warm jade‑like tactile quality. Interior wall features elaborate mould‑printed decoration: a continuous key‑fret border runs along inner rim, star‑shaped floral motif sits at bowl center. Main field showcases multiple elegant phoenixes flying amid full‑bloom peony blossoms. Phoenixes display outstretched feathers, peonies and foliage are densely layered, the relief‑style print creates strong visual depth. Outer surface is left plain, showcasing natural glaze texture and crackle pattern. Foot ring is cleanly trimmed, unglazed base reveals typical Hutian kiln beige sandy body with scattered original kiln‑firing dark specks. Large‑size mould‑printed phoenix‑peony bowls of this type are fairly scarce. Phoenix‑and‑peony pattern symbolizes fortune and auspice in Song culture. This well‑preserved piece retains sharp detail and beautiful glaze, fully reflects outstanding moulding and glazing craftsmanship of Song Jingdezhen. It is highly valuable for appreciation, historical research and serious collection.
