It adopts the iconic conical douli shape, with a wide six-lobed floral rim featuring soft gentle undulations. The thin porcelain wall slopes smoothly down from the rim to the short circular foot, delivering sleek minimalist aesthetics favored by Song literati. The interior surface is fully decorated with hand-carved continuous scrolling grass motifs, swirling evenly with balanced density. The shallow carving technique is fluid and skillful, patterns stretch naturally along the bowl’s curved surface, revealing distinct layered textures under light, representing the peak carving craftsmanship of Southern Song period. The exterior is plain without ornamentation, fully covered with signature Hutian Yingqing glaze. The glaze carries soft translucent pale cyan-blue tone, thin yet glossy with mild glassy texture, dotted with tiny natural tan burial stains formed over thousands of years underground. The short narrow foot ring exposes raw clay base, marked with original dark brown firing pad scars; the fine white clay body is a signature feature of high-grade Hutian kaolin porcelain. Hutian Yingqing wares were praised as "fake jade" in ancient records, widely supplied to imperial courts and scholar-officials during Song times. Large intact floral-rim conical bowls with full interior carving are extremely rare among surviving specimens. This large vessel boasts balanced grand proportions, authentic translucent glaze, complete crisp carved decoration and all typical kiln manufacturing marks. Its flawless long-term survival fully embodies the highest porcelain craftsmanship of Song bluish-white wares, holding extraordinary artistic appreciation value, Song handicraft archaeological research significance and scarce antique collectible worth.
