It features a flared mouth, slender tapered neck, enormous flattened bulbous belly and outward splayed foot, delivering a powerful, grand silhouette with perfectly balanced proportions, a canonical form for large decorative Qing court porcelain. The rim is trimmed with gilding, and the entire interior is covered in turquoise green glaze. The exterior rests on precious imperial yellow glaze, densely layered with multiple bands of decorative motifs arranged from top to bottom: scattered floral sprigs, longevity character brocade ground, hanging banana leaf borders, and winding interlocking lotus & treasure flower scrolls. A framed round longevity emblem adorns the neck, symbolizing eternal fortune and longevity. The famille rose palette is elaborate and sophisticated, blending soft pink, sapphire blue, emerald green, iron red, ochre and violet tones. Twisting vine and flower outlines are sharply defined with fine gilded lines, filled with smooth even pigment, showcasing the pinnacle of Qianlong imperial porcelain painting craftsmanship. A neat band of lotus petal patterns encircles the lower belly, creating orderly layered composition that feels lush yet uncluttered, fully embodying the opulent, stately aesthetic of the Qing court. The base foot is fully glazed in turquoise green, stamped with the standard six-character Qianlong imperial blue seal script mark. The porcelain body is thick, dense and firm, capped with glossy luminous glaze. Large-format yellow-ground famille rose water chestnut vases carried extremely high firing costs in the 18th century, and undamaged full-sized surviving specimens are remarkably scarce. Combining official imperial form, auspicious symbolic ornamentation and top-tier famille rose techniques, this vase serves as a pivotal physical specimen for academic research on Qianlong imperial famille rose firing systems, court auspicious decorative culture and Qing imperial display porcelain regulations. It boasts extraordinary cultural relic research value, elite Chinese hall display aesthetic value and rare high-tier imperial porcelain collectible value for global collectors.
