Dimensions：Diameter 30cm (11.81 Inches),14th Century Condition & Provenance：This big bowl is solid,no cracks or breaks.There is light age‑related wear along the rim from centuries of handling.Glaze is mostly intact,we can spot natural iron speckles from original Yuan cobalt pigment,minor antique glaze pinholes scattered across surface,no repairs at all.The unglazed foot shows earth patina and original wheel‑cut marks.This piece comes from a private Dallas,Texas family collection,it has stayed within this family since the 1970s,passed down through generations and never appeared on public market before. Description：This massive 14th‑century Yuan blue‑and‑white bowl features wide flared opening,curved tapering body and tall solid foot ring,the whole body is thick and heavy,classic large‑size Yuan porcelain for display and daily use.Inside center,double blue circles frame a powerful five‑claw dragon chasing flaming pearl,the dragon twists dynamically with fine scaled skin,flying whiskers and sharp claws,flame scrolls surround the pearl,painter used bold,energetic brushwork full of power.Inner rim is fully covered by continuous scrolling floral border with endless interlocking leaves and blossoms.On outer upper wall,we see rich scrolling sacred lotus blooms,plump flowers twist and wind with natural flowing stems and leaves.Lower exterior band displays classic Yuan‑style divided upward lotus petal panels,each panel holds cloud and pearl motif with sharp defined outlines,super typical Yuan decorative language.It uses imported Yuan cobalt material,producing deep rich blue tones,iron specks sink slightly under glaze surface.The glaze is thick and soft with subtle bluish‑white antique tone.The exposed foot ring shows rough solid porcelain clay,clear hand‑wheel cutting marks and layered accumulated earth patina from long‑term burial and collection.Large Yuan bowls with interior dragon decoration are pretty rare.This one is fully painted both inside and out,keeps original untouched condition,it carries huge artistic appeal and research value,truly a top‑tier Yuan blue‑and‑white survivor.
