It boasts a full rounded alms‑bowl silhouette with slightly contracted rim, plump bulging body tapering gently toward short low ring foot. Its shape is solid and stout with soft restrained contours. Smooth thick bean‑green celadon glaze evenly coats both interior and exterior surfaces. The glaze tone is gentle and elegant with subtle understated luster, representative of classic Longquan celadon quality. The flat inner base bears faint concentric circular turning marks, natural traces left by ancient wheel‑throwing production. The foot ring is sharply trimmed, exposed clay around foot edge shows yellowish firing color with natural iron‑rust patina, glaze remains intact on base center retaining original firing condition. While Yuan Longquan alms‑bowl washers exist on market, well‑preserved undamaged specimens with such uniform glaze are quite desirable. It faithfully reflects the robust, unpretentious aesthetic of Yuan Longquan porcelain, serving as valuable physical reference for studying Yuan‑era Longquan firing techniques and scholar‑studio culture, with great practical, decorative and collectible antique value.
