It features lobed floral‑shaped rim with undulating petal contours, broad outward‑stretching folded rim, shallow tapering body and short low ring‑foot, delivering a lively elegant silhouette. Soft sky‑toned Longquan celadon glaze evenly coats interior and exterior walls. The glaze layer is smooth and velvety with restrained gentle luster, fully representing the refined aesthetic of Southern‑Song Longquan celadon. The plain flat central plate area has no decorative patterns, embodying minimalist Song taste. The foot ring is sharply cut, exposed foot‑rim clay shows brownish tone with genuine ancient soil patina, glaze fully covers base center keeping original firing condition. Floral‑lobed vessels were technically challenging to shape during Song ceramic production. This example maintains well‑balanced form with smooth flowing floral rim outline and attractive glaze. It faithfully preserves authentic Southern‑Song Longquan craftsmanship, serving as valuable physical reference for studying Song‑era celadon aesthetics and daily‑use porcelain culture, suitable for collection and display with solid antique value.
