It is freshly released from family estate settlement, full provenance records are available upon request.Description: This complete chrysanthemum‑ribbed cosmetic box was produced at Longquan kiln during Yuan dynasty. It served as a ladies’ domestic vessel for storing face powder and rouge in ancient times. It adopts flattened circular shape, the lid fits tightly onto base. Outer walls are decorated with neatly radiating chrysanthemum petal ribs. The top surface of lid is mould‑printed with an elegant standing crane alongside simple grass foliage, symbolizing longevity and good fortune. Raw clay appears at the joining rim, the circular base foot bears classic hand‑trimming work with natural rust‑red firing stain. Thick soft powder‑green celadon glaze coats interior and exterior entirely. Glaze pools deeper within recessed moulded lines, which brings the crane motif into sharp three‑dimensional relief. Longquan kiln mass‑produced cosmetic boxes in Yuan period. This original matched set features well‑defined form, crisp moulded pattern and excellent glaze condition. It represents a fine authentic Yuan‑dynasty Longquan ceramic artifact, highly desirable for specialized ancient‑china‑ceramic collection and interior display.
