It features undulating floral‑shaped flared rim. The whole body is sculpted with vertical melon‑ribbed contours with full, flowing ridges, supported by three sturdy tripod feet. Three original incense‑vent holes are preserved on interior base, characteristic of its original function. Base follows the ribbed form of vessel, foot tips are unglazed showing typical Longquan ochre‑red firing patina. Interior and exterior are covered with thick, even soft celadon glaze. Glaze thins along raised ridges revealing subtle body tone, accentuating sculptural depth. Longquan kiln mass‑produced this style of functional censers throughout Yuan‑Ming dynasties. This well‑preserved example with full form and fine craftsmanship represents high‑quality Longquan ritual ware, well‑suited for specialized antique ceramic collection and interior display.
