拍品描述

Dimensions: Rim Diameter 8 cm (3.15 in), Height 7.5 cm (2.95 in)Condition & Provenance: This tripod censer is made of Jun‑kiln ash‑grey ceramic body. Unglazed base shows original sandy paste, genuine age‑related patina fully preserved, no acid washing or artificial polishing. Sky‑blue glaze is covered with fine natural crackle, glaze surface remains lustrous, only minor wear from long‑term age. Three feet are original and intact. No penetrating cracks, major chips or restoration. Purple splashes are natural kiln‑transformation without later‑added pigment. Only gentle conservative dust cleaning was performed. This censer was once in the private collection of a dedicated Jin‑Yuan Jun‑ware collector based in Texas, with over thirty‑year experience collecting northern ancient Chinese ceramics. It was acquired from a Hong‑Kong antique gallery in 2004. After entering United States collection, it was stored in climate‑controlled private cabinet for study and display only. It has never been consigned to auction or museum exhibition. Freshly released from family‑estate dispersal, complete provenance documents are available upon request.Description: This small incense burner was produced at Jun kiln during Jin‑Yuan dynasty, a scholar‑studio object for incense burning. It features flared rim, contracted neck, rounded bulbous belly supported by three small beast‑form feet. Base centre is unglazed showing typical Jun‑ware sandy body. Thick opaque sky‑blue glaze covers most of the vessel with natural crackle. Large rose‑purple kiln‑splash streaks freely flow across exterior, creating striking blue‑and‑purple colour contrast, the signature feature of Jun‑kiln wares. Celebrated for milky blue glaze and spontaneous purple kiln transformations, this compact censer has quaint shape, vivid purple splash and authentic old glaze lustre. It represents the rustic yet brilliant aesthetic of Jin‑Yuan Jun ceramics. A delightful collectible small antique for scholar‑table appreciation and specialized ceramic collection.
