It was acquired in the 1970s and has remained within the same family estate, never appearing in public auction before.Description:This finely potted doucai bowl features an elegant shallow flared conical form with thin, well‑proportioned walls. The exterior is vividly decorated with dynamic coiled dragons amid rolling clouds and wave motifs, executed in the classic doucai technique: underglaze blue outlines filled with overglaze green, yellow, red and blue enamels. The dragons are powerfully rendered with detailed scales, manes and claws, conveying the imperial symbolic power of the dragon. The interior is covered with plain soft pale celadon‑toned glaze, clean and restrained, highlighting the bright exterior painted decoration. The foot ring is neatly trimmed, and the base displays standard Yongzheng imperial script mark. Doucai dragon wares from the Yongzheng period represent the peak of Qing imperial ceramic craftsmanship, combining precise shaping, well‑controlled underglaze blue and harmonious overglaze enamel palette. This substantial‑sized example exhibits superb painting quality and complete original condition.
