Dimensions：Height 19.8 cm (7‑13/16 in), Mouth Diameter 4.5 cm (1‑25/32 in); Yuan DynastyCondition & Provenance：Body intact. Minor glaze chips and wear to the unglazed octagonal base edge, no deep cracks or restoration. Natural pervasive crackle runs throughout the qingbai glaze. This octagonal molded meiping originates from a distinguished private early‑porcelain collection based in Los Angeles, California. It was purchased from a Paris‑based antique gallery in the early 1990s and has remained within one private family estate, never previously offered for public auction.Description：This stout octagonal meiping is crafted with a short faceted neck and small octagonal mouth. Each facet is densely molded with scrolling floral‑vine patterns, framed by raised dividing ribs. The entire surface is enveloped in soft translucent bluish‑tinged qingbai glaze, exhibiting widespread natural crackle texture. The base is unglazed, revealing pale‑white porcelain body with earth‑burial patina and minor edge wear. Octagonal molded meiping represent a popular decorative form of Yuan‑period Jingdezhen qingbai ware. The crisp moulded floral relief, distinct multi‑faceted silhouette and characteristic ice‑cracked glaze make this a fine example of Yuan‑dynasty folk‑oriented Jingdezhen porcelain art.
