Description:This is a rare Yuan‑dynasty porcelain bowl decorated with raised‑line slip and gilding. It features flared mouth, curved body and thick unglazed sandy foot. The glaze carries faint bluish‑white tone dotted with minor age‑caused speckles. Raised slip outlines petal‑shaped cartouches on exterior, each enclosing one of the Eight Buddhist Auspicious Symbols: wheel, conch, canopy, umbrella, lotus, vase, fish and endless knot. Motifs are filled with red and green pigments accented by gilding, creating prominent relief effect. Outside rim is adorned with hanging scroll‑floral patterns. The bowl interior centre bears Sanskrit characters within a begonia‑shaped cartouche, inner rim encircled by scrolling floral border. Base retains distinct wheel‑cut spiral marks on coarse sandy clay. Raised‑line gilded wares are extremely rare survivals from Yuan period, serving as religious sacrificial or export‑oriented artefact with remarkable historical and artistic value.
