Description：This is a Yuhuchun pear‑shaped vase with moulded phoenix relief, fired at Jingdezhen kiln in Yuan Dynasty, serving as classic wine‑serving display vessel. It features flared mouth, slender long neck, plump pear‑shaped belly and splayed foot ring, with elegant smooth silhouette. The whole piece is covered with shufu‑type egg‑white glaze, presenting warm milky white with faint cyan undertone and thick lustrous surface, typical feature of Yuan‑dynasty shufu ware. The belly is decorated with three‑dimensional mould‑carved flying phoenix. The phoenix raises its head with out‑stretched wings and flowing tail feathers, fine carved feather scales, vivid dynamic posture and distinct relief layers. Interior is also covered with egg‑white glaze, minor ancient kiln impurities can be observed inside mouth. Unglazed foot reveals solid porcelain body with neat trimming, base bears wheel‑turning spiral traces of Yuan‑dynasty craftsmanship. Most surviving Yuan egg‑white glazed wares adopt stamping decoration; examples with three‑dimensional relief phoenix on Yuhuchun vase are relatively scarce. It possesses great artistic and craft value as representative surviving artifact of Yuan‑dynasty shufu‑type porcelain.
