拍品描述

Dimensions:H.5cm,Diam.7.5cm Condition & Provenance:Fully intact, no cracks or chips. Well‑preserved doucai enamels with natural aged glaze lustre. Light ancient soil patina on unglazed foot‑ring. No modern restoration, no chemical cleaning. From private collection of M·W, Dallas, Texas, USA. Acquired in 2009, family inheritance under climate‑controlled storage, never appeared in public auction or museum exhibition. Description:This is an imperial Doucai tea cup from Jingdezhen official kiln, Chenghua reign Ming dynasty. Faring mouth, curved wall, deep belly and small foot‑ring, delicate and thinly‑potted. Fine underglaze‑blue double lines decorate inner and outer rim; interior plain with smooth white glaze. Exterior is decorated with four round medallion dragons. Dragon outlines are drawn in underglaze‑blue, body washed in blue, interwoven with scrolling flowers filled in green, iron‑red and yellow enamels. Coiled dragons are vivid among foliage with balanced layout. Enamel application is refined and soft‑toned, characteristic of Chenghua Doucai aesthetic. Base bears six‑character underglaze‑blue reign mark “Da Ming Cheng Hua Nian Zhi” within square blue frame in regular script. Chenghua Doucai cups are highly‑treasured imperial wares, dragon‑medallion examples are relatively rare. This miniature fine vessel demonstrates supreme Ming porcelain craftsmanship, with great collecting importance.
