Description：This is a fine Yuan‑dynasty yuhuchun vase with sacrificial‑blue glaze and applied white‑dragon relief, representative of Yuan blue‑glazed porcelain. It features flared mouth, slender neck, plump pear‑shaped belly and splayed foot‑ring with elegant classic silhouette. The whole body is covered by deep rich sacrificial‑blue glaze with lustrous surface. A three‑dimensional white‑dragon is applied on belly, contrasting sharply against deep blue ground. The dragon is powerful and dynamic, with flying whiskers, finely carved scales and out‑stretched limbs, interspersed with scrolling cloud patterns. The foot‑ring reveals coarse‑textured original clay, inner base covered with white glaze. The blue‑ground‑with‑white‑relief technique bears distinct Yuan‑dynasty characteristics. Sacrificial‑blue glazed wares of Yuan are rare, and yuhuchun vases with applied dragon motif are even scarcer. This piece bears remarkable craftsmanship and historical‑artistic value as a rare Yuan porcelain treasure.
