Description:This is a classic Yuan‑dynasty blue‑and‑white stem bowl with bamboo‑joint stem. It has flared rim, shallow open bowl body, and tall stem molded with multiple raised bamboo‑joint rings, ending with unglazed sandy foot. The exterior is painted with a powerful roaming dragon, featuring fierce head, flying mane, finely‑rendered scale grid pattern and dynamic flame‑like appendages, executed in bold, free Yuan‑style brushwork with varied cobalt tonalities. Interior rim is decorated with scrolling foliate border. Bowl center features a crane amid bamboo and auspicious fruits, the crane stands gracefully with detailed feather rendering, accompanied by slender bamboo sprigs and ripe fruits with well‑balanced composition. Subtle incised under‑glaze patterns decorate inner wall as background. The vessel is covered by soft bluish‑white glaze with genuine age patina. Foot shows dry, original Yuan‑period clay texture with natural kiln specks. This piece combines vigorous outer dragon theme and elegant inner crane motif, demonstrating superb painting skill. Fully intact examples of this type are quite scarce, representing a fine specimen of Yuan blue‑and‑white stem ware.
