The rim is gilded, below which sits yellow‑ground famille rose ruyi‑head border, and interior is covered with turquoise glaze. The exterior is laid with saturated sapphire‑blue ground densely painted with famille‑rose winter‑plum blossoms, interspersed with fresh green bamboo sprigs. Plum petals are delicately shaded with fine stamen details. Vivid contrast exists among deep‑blue background, white blossoms and green foliage. The lower body is encircled by yellow‑pink famille‑rose lotus‑petal frieze, and the foot wall is decorated with key‑fret pattern. The base is coated with turquoise‑green glaze stamped with six‑character iron‑red seal mark “Da Qing Qian Long Nian Zhi”. Elegant silhouette combined with elaborate enamelling, the winter‑plum motif symbolizes resilience against frost, representing high‑grade imperial decorative porcelain of Qianlong reign.
