Description:An imperial famille‑rose teapot of Qianlong reign. Lobed melon‑form body, branch‑form finial on cover, elongated spout and loop handle, raised foot ring, base bearing six‑character blue‑and‑white seal mark “Da Qing Qian Long Nian Zhi”. Painted on white glaze with continuous scene of ancient literati night banquet. Dignitaries in traditional robes gather around tables furnished with wine cups and fruit plates, attendants standing in service, complemented by palace lanterns, tea stove, bridge and rockwork. Figures are vividly rendered with fine drapery details and rich layered colours. Narrow grooves between melon segments filled with finely written black‑ink calligraphic poems, interspersed with red seal impressions. The theme depicts elegant literary gathering of feast and poetry composition. Combining narrative figure painting, calligraphy and seal art, this scholar‑studio tea vessel reflects supreme craftsmanship of Qianlong imperial porcelain.
