Straight cylindrical body with red‑coloured rim, inner rim glazed in turquoise‑green, interior fully covered in deep green glaze. The exterior is laid on turquoise‑blue ground, richly decorated with famille‑rose enamels and fine gilded scrolling precious lotus blossoms. Interspersed among floral scrolls are iron‑red “Shou” longevity characters and flying bats, symbolizing blessing and longevity. The upper rim is framed by ruyi‑head border, the lower part adorned with upward lotus‑petal frieze. Four small gilded supports stand at base, the base itself is turquoise‑green glazed with iron‑red six‑character seal mark “Da Qing Dao Guang Nian Zhi”. Meticulous colour application and fluid gilded outlines render a dense yet balanced composition. This practical scholar’s utensil fully demonstrates the craftsmanship of imperial porcelain of late Qing court.
