Modelled after ancient bronze ding vessel, equipped with a pair of upright flanges on rim, rounded body supported by three column‑shaped feet with small vent holes. The whole body is covered with soft and even dou‑qing (pale celadon) glaze with lustrous finish. A broad gilt band encircles the belly, finely decorated with scrolling precious floral pattern, intertwined blossoms and leaves rendered in meticulous gilding, creating striking visual contrast against soft celadon ground. Interior is plain glazed in dou‑qing tone. Underside bears neat under‑glaze blue four‑character seal mark “Qian Long Nian Zhi”. Combining archaic bronze vessel aesthetic with exquisite Qing gilded porcelain craftsmanship, this small‑size censer presents dignified shape and sophisticated workmanship, representing high‑quality imperial porcelain for scholar’s studio and Buddhist worship in Qianlong reign.
