It features a flared gilded mouth, long neck applied with a pair of elephant‑head ring handles with finely modelled details, full rounded body and flared gilded foot ring. The exterior is covered in deep lustrous sacrificial‑blue glaze. Elaborate scrolling‑lotus flowers and foliage are rendered in fine gilding all over the surface, with stippled texture on gold lines. The neck is decorated with plantain‑leaf and scroll patterns, and the lower body is encircled by lappet panels. The interior and base are glazed in turquoise‑green, with a four‑character blue seal mark “Qian Long Nian Zhi” at the centre. The striking contrast between deep blue glaze and brilliant gilding represents the magnificent aesthetic of Qianlong imperial porcelain for hall display.
