拍品描述
Dimensions:Diam.16.5cm Condition & Provenance:Fully intact, no cracks or chips. Even and lustrous carmine‑red glaze on exterior, clean white glaze to interior, well‑trimmed foot ring, natural age‑related patina, no modern restoration. Formerly private collection of Evan Carter, Dallas, Texas, U.S.A. Acquired in 1970s, family descent. Never offered at public auction, no exhibition or publication records. Description:A fine imperial monochrome plate of the Yongzheng reign. Wide flared rim, shallow curved wall and ring foot. The interior is covered with pure white glaze, while the exterior is entirely coated in rich carmine‑red glaze with smooth, velvety texture. The base is white‑glazed, bearing four‑character blue‑and‑square box mark “Yong Zheng Yu Zhi”. Carmine‑red glaze derived from western enamel materials reached technical perfection under Yongzheng. Eschewing painted decoration, the plate relies entirely on the quality of glaze colour, embodying the restrained and noble aesthetic of Yongzheng imperial porcelain.
