拍品描述
Dimensions:H.22.5cm Condition & Provenance:Entire vessel intact, no cracks or chips. Lustrous glaze, well‑preserved cobalt decoration, natural wear on foot ring from long‑term usage. Formerly private collection of Arthur Graham, New York City, New York State, U.S.A. Purchased from antique gallery in 1960s, passed down within family. Never appeared in public auction, no exhibition or publication records. Description:A fine Ming‑dynasty display porcelain vase. It features straight long neck, generously rounded bulbous body and neatly trimmed foot ring, presenting stately and elegant silhouette. The neck below rim is decorated with scrolling grass border. The whole body is fully painted with interlocking peony scrolls in under‑glaze blue. Twisting stems interweave among plump peony blooms and layered leaves, dense composition with clear hierarchy. The cobalt pigment renders rich deep‑blue tone with natural ink‑wash diffusion characteristic of Ming porcelain. Drawn with powerful, unconstrained brushwork. The exposed foot ring shows solid fine‑grained body clay. This is an elegant flower‑arranging vessel for ancient hall display, intact example is quite desirable.
