The neck is fully painted with scrolling precious floral scrolls with twisting stems and full blossoms. Both sides of flat body feature powerful five‑clawed striding dragon. The dragon possesses forceful posture, meticulously scaled body, flying mane and whiskers, surrounded by rolling stylized cloud patterns conveying imposing momentum. The underglaze blue is rich and deep with characteristic iron‑rust speckles of Xuande porcelain. Painted in bold, vigorous brushwork with grand and full composition. Heavy solid body covered by thick lustrous glaze. Unglazed oval foot ring bears natural aged patina. This is an important early‑Ming imperial display treasure, representative of official dragon‑themed blue‑and‑white porcelain.
