Short straight neck, broad flattened rectangular body, flat base, four robust suspension loops symmetrically moulded to the shoulders. Neck decorated with small scrolling flowers. Both broad main faces feature large foliated cartouches filled with luxuriant peony scrolls, centred upon paired peacocks among blooms, their plumage rendered with fine detail. Narrow side panels contain vertical cartouches with sprouting peony branches. Densely arranged composition painted in confident, vigorous brushwork. Large intact four‑loop flat flasks are rare survivals, representing a fusion of nomadic form and supreme Chinese porcelain craftsmanship.
