Dimensions：Height 33cm(12.99 in),Mouth Diameter 7.6cm(2.99 in),Base Diameter 13.2cm(5.20 in),19th Century Condition & Provenance：Fully intact. Smooth even glaze with fine yellow‑brown speckles throughout. Thin glaze at rim reveals russet edge. Base bears incised six‑character seal mark “Da Qing Guang Xu Nian Zhi”. Old private collection,Chicago,Illinois,USA. Acquired in 1947,family descent,no prior auction record. Description：This is a fine Guangxu official‑ware tea‑dust‑glazed bixie vase. It features straight neck,soft sloping shoulders,broad compressed pear‑shaped body and neatly finished foot‑ring,representative late Qing display vessel. The whole body is covered with tea‑dust glaze of warm olive‑brown tone,stippled with fine iron‑rust speckles typical for this glaze type. Rim shows thin russet glaze edge. The base is incised with well‑executed six‑character seal reign mark. Tea‑dust is a high‑temperature kiln‑change glaze imitating ancient bronze patina,much treasured by Qing court. Large Guangxu official‑ware tea‑dust bixie vases are relatively uncommon. Well‑preserved,it stands as a fine example of late Qing imperial porcelain.
