拍品描述

Chinese Gilt‑Bronze Two‑Handled Censer 18x19 cm. A faceted hexagonal bronze censer with warm reddish‑brown patina, embellished with gilt‑bronze circular panels featuring stylized archaic dragon motifs. Twin gilt loop‑form handles extend from the sides. It is fitted with an open‑work carved hardwood cover surmounted by an openwork white jade finial, and rests upon a carved dark wood stand. The harmonious combination of bronze, gilding, hardwood and jade creates a stately scholar‑studio incense burner of fine decorative quality. Dimensions: Height 18 cm, Width 19 cm. A multi‑material faceted censer with gilt dragon roundels, jade finial and wood stand.
