拍品描述

A Chinese gilt‑copper Buddhist yab‑yum figure L. 55 cm. W. 30 cm. H. 70 grams. A Chinese gilt‑copper Buddhist yab‑yum figure, measuring 55cm long, 30cm wide, 70cm high. Cast in copper and richly gilded, this multi‑armed, multi‑headed tantric deity embraces its consort in union pose, trampling subdued figures atop an ornate double‑lotus base. Each hand holds distinct ritual implements, with finely chased jewellery, crowns and scrolling foliate adornments throughout the composition. The gilded surface retains lustre with subtle wear consistent with age and devotional worship. Elaborate casting and fine chasing detail define this imposing sculptural work.
