拍品描述

A Chinese gilt‑bronze Yamantaka wrathful deity L. 33 cm. W. 22 cm. H. 48 cm. Weight 17300 grams. A Chinese gilt‑bronze Yamantaka wrathful deity, measuring 33cm long, 22cm wide, 48cm high, weight 17300 grams. Cast in gilt‑bronze, this multi‑armed bull‑headed tantric deity stands in dynamic trampling stance atop subdued figures upon an ornate double‑lotus base. The figure features stacked multi‑headed crown assembly, elaborate beaded ornaments and intricately modelled radiating arms holding various ritual attributes. Facial details are heightened with cold‑paint accents. Fine relief carving adorns the base, retaining rich gilded surfaces characteristic of important Tibetan‑Buddhist devotional statuary.
