Chinese Gilt-Bronze Guardian Figures L. 15 cm. W. 10 cm. H. 36 cm. Weight 6080 grams. A pair of gilt‑bronze guardian figures, each standing firmly upon integrated rectangular bases. They are modelled powerfully with well‑defined muscular physiques, fierce stern facial expressions, and dynamic clenched‑fist poses. Partial surviving gilding overlays the bronze surface, accentuating details of their facial features, musculature and simple waist garments. Dimensions: Length 15 cm, Width 10 cm, Height 36 cm; Weight 6080 grams. This imposing pair demonstrates forceful sculptural modelling, representing traditional Chinese temple guardian iconography and fine metal‑casting craftsmanship.
