A Chinese kesi tapestry with flower‑and‑vase motif L. 118 cm. W. 67 cm. A Chinese kesi tapestry with flower‑and‑vase motif, measuring 118cm long, 67cm wide. This vertical woven panel presents a still‑life composition of antique vase, potted plum blossom, lingzhi fungus and various flowering branches against a warm mustard‑yellow ground. Several red woven seal impressions are distributed across the pictorial space. The top edge is finished with loose fringes. Executed in refined kesi tapestry‑weaving technique with rich natural‑toned threads. Creases and minor wear consistent with age and handling are visible over the textile surface.
