拍品描述
A CHINESE PAINTING OF GROOMS & HORSES, SIGNED ANONYMOUS Image only size 30 cm by 29 cm. Ink and colour on silk, album leaf, anonymous antique Chinese painting, measuring 30 x 29 cm. This silk panel depicts two grooms attending two fine horses, rendered in meticulous ancient figure‑and‑horse style. The accompanying leaf features calligraphy with seals. The aged silk bears natural patina and wear consistent with old works. Fine outline drawing and modulated pigment bring figures and horses to life. A classic example of traditional Chinese equestrian painting, paired with contemporary inscribed calligraphy.
