A CHINESE PAINTING OF LADIES, SIGNED ANONYMOUS Image only size 42 cm by 46 cm. Ink and colour on silk, anonymous antique Chinese painting, measuring 42 x 46 cm. This aged silk painting depicts court ladies in a courtyard veranda. One noble lady sits beside a table stacked with books, while two attendants stand nearby. The composition includes banana plants, scholar’s rock, architectural structures and bamboo. The silk bears natural age‑related craquelure and patina. Fine gongbi lines and soft pigments render figures and garden scenery. No original artist signature; collector seals appear in lower‑left corner.
