A CHINESE PAINTING OF LANDSCAPE, SIGNED ZHANG DAQIAN Image only size 90 cm by 38 cm. Ink and colour on silk, hanging scroll, measuring 90 × 38 cm. A classical mountain‑and‑water scene featuring jagged rock formations, gushing waterfalls, ancient pines, wandering figures and a distant pavilion. Poetic inscription and artist’s two red seals appear in the upper‑left corner. Executed in meticulous archaic manner, blending fine texture strokes with warm earth‑toned colouring. The work reflects Zhang Daqian’s profound study of old‑master landscape traditions.
