拍品描述

A CHINESE PAINTING OF PEONIES, SIGNED CUI ZIFAN Image only size 70 cm by 65 cm. Ink and colour on paper, square hanging scroll, measuring 70 × 65 cm. Bold free‑style painting featuring vibrant red peony blossoms, rugged branches, heavy green leaves and a hovering dragonfly. Executed in Cui Zifan’s distinctive naive‑vigorous brush idiom, with blocky forms, saturated colour washes and forceful ink strokes. Signed Cui Zifan at lower right, accompanied by one artist’s seal. The work conveys robust vitality, a fine representative of the artist’s modern free‑brush flower‑and‑bird painting.
