拍品描述
A CHINESE PAINTING OF FIGURES, SIGNED ANONYMOUS Image only size 42 cm by 46 cm. Ink and colour on silk, anonymous antique Chinese painting, measuring 42 x 46 cm. This aged silk work depicts a scholarly gentleman seated on garden rocks, receiving a kneeling female attendant within a courtyard setting, complete with leafy trees, buildings, rocks and bamboo. The silk bears natural craquelure and age‑related patina. Executed in fine traditional figure‑painting brushwork. Lacking original artist signature. Seals are visible in the lower‑left corner, illustrating an elegant ancient Chinese garden narrative scene.
